Common questions

What is Daily Rythm?

Daily Rythm is a calm habit and accountability app. It helps you choose small actions, repeat them on the right days, review your progress, and build shared rhythms with other people.

How is Daily Rythm different from a normal checklist?

Daily Rythm is designed around intention, not pressure. A checklist asks whether everything is done. Daily Rythm helps you start with the smallest useful action, understand your weekly pattern, and keep going without turning one missed day into failure.

What is a rhythm?

A rhythm is a habit with context: what you want to do, when it counts, how often it should happen, and what progress means. Some rhythms are daily, some happen on selected weekdays, and some are weekly targets.

How do I add a rhythm?

Open the app, go to Today, and choose Add or Choose another. You can pick from the rhythm library or create your own. The app supports simple check-ins, avoidance habits, timed habits, quantity goals, and schedules.

Can a rhythm happen only on certain days?

Yes. You can set rhythms for specific days, such as Monday to Friday, every Wednesday, or a few times per week. Off-days are not treated as broken streaks.

Can I track habits I want to avoid?

Yes. Avoidance rhythms are framed positively, such as staying smoke-free or avoiding junk food. The app tracks clean days without making the habit sound like something you did.

What are Ideas?

Ideas are possible rhythms you may want later. You can save an intention without committing to it immediately, then turn it into an active rhythm when the timing feels right.

What is the Today screen for?

Today shows what matters now: the rhythms scheduled for today, what is already complete, what is still waiting, and quick ways to add a small action.

What does the progress view show?

Progress shows your streaks, completion rate, active days, and recent history. It is built to show patterns over time rather than punish a single missed day.

What are Circles?

Circles are public or private groups where people build a shared rhythm together. A circle can have shared rhythms, leaderboards, and activity feeds so members can stay accountable.

Are private circles invite-only?

Yes. Private circles are joined through invite links or invite codes created by the circle owner or admins. Public circles can be discovered and joined more easily.

Can I join a public circle?

Yes. Public circles are designed around common goals like walking every day, mindful minutes, sleep, morning routines, or a summer reset. You can join and link your own matching rhythm.

Do other people see my phone number or email?

No. Circles use your profile display name and username. Your phone number, email, and identity details are not shown to other members.

How do reminders work?

Reminders help you return to a rhythm at the right time. They can be attached to habits, and scheduled rhythms do not need to behave like daily reminders if the habit is not daily.

Can I use Daily Rythm alone?

Yes. Daily Rythm works as a personal tracker. Circles are optional and are there when you want accountability or a shared goal.

How do I pause, remove, or delete a rhythm?

Open the rhythm detail or action menu in the app. Depending on the rhythm state, you can pause it, remove it from Today, or delete it.

What if my count or streak looks wrong?

Refresh the app first. If it still looks wrong, contact support with your phone number or username, the rhythm name, and what you expected to see. We can investigate the event history.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account in the app from Profile → Account → Delete Account. If you have trouble, email support@mydailyrythm.com with the subject line: Delete my Daily Rythm account.

Where can I find the Privacy Policy in the app?

The Privacy Policy is available in the app from Profile → Account → Privacy Policy and on the web at mydailyrythm.com/privacy.
